The Carnegie Performing Arts Center requires that students appearance in class must be neat at all times. If a student is not properly prepared for class he or she must observe class only.

Ballet Classes

Girls -

Beginning Ballet  - Advanced Ballet - Hair must be pinned up into a neat bun.

Begriming Ballet 1 & 2 - Pink or Black Leotard, Pink Ballet Tights and Pink Ballet Slippers

Beginning Ballet 2 - Advanced Ballet 1 - Black Leotard, Pink Ballet Tights, and Pink Ballet Slippers

Boys :

Beginning Ballet - Advanced  Ballet - Black Dance Pants, Black Ballet Shoes, and Plain White Tee-Shirt.

Tap Classes

Girls -

Beginning - Advanced Tap - Hair must be pulled back in to a ponytail or bun.

Beginning  - Advanced Tap- Black Leotard, Pink or Tan Tights, and Black Tap Shoes

Boys -

Black Dance Pants, Black Tap Shoes, Plain White Tee-Shirt

Jazz Classes

Girls -

Beginning - Advance Jazz - Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.

Beginning - Advance Jazz - Black Leotard, Pink or Tan Tights, and Black Jazz Shoes

Boys-

Black Dance Pants, Black Jazz Shoes, Plain White Tee-Shirt

Lyrical and Modern Dance

Girls

Beginning - Advanced - Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.

Beginning - Advanced - Black Leotard, Pink or Tan Tights, and Lyrical Dance Slippers.

Boys -

Black Dance Pants, Lyrical Dance Slippers, Plain White Tee Shirt.

Hip Hop and Adult Dance

Girls and Boys

Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.

Students may wear Loose Fitting clothing such as boxarshorts or sweatpants over Leotard and Tights.

Dress Code/Attendance

For our dance students CPAC sells Revolution dance shoes, leotards, and tights. These items are offered at reduced cost and are only available for students of the

Attendance  Policy -

Regular class attendance is required. Each student's interest and progress is directly related to good attendance. Missed classes may be made up during the same semester in which the student enrolled provided an alternate class is offered. If a student is unable to attend a class please be sure to call and leave a voice message before the start of class. Students arriving 15 minutes (or more) late for a class must observe class only. If a student must leave a class early , the instructor must be given a note or parental permission prior to the start of the class.
