The audition is open to all Girls and Boys age 5-Adult. You DO NOT have to be a student of the Carnegie Performing Arts Center to Audition. Everyone is Welcome!

Rehearsals will be on Saturdays in January and February. The Little Mermaid Performances will be February 22 & 23
We are looking for Enthusiastic and committed children who would like the opportunity to perform in a full stage production. Artistic Director Monica Ryan directs this enchanting production.
The Carnegie Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality performing dance education. CPAC believes that active participation in all aspects of performing will ensure the most well-rounded arts education and will result in the best prepared performer.
The Little Mermaid Play Costume Fitting Day is Sunday, January 26. Remember to sign up for your costume fitting time in the Lobby. Everyone in the productions much sign up for a 10-minute fitting time between the hours of 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Please wear a leotard and tights or at least something close fitting so we can try your costume on you. Tights, changing leotards and shoes are for sale on this day in case you need them.
T shirts for the performances are ONLY sold on this day bring your payment if you would like one.
In addition parents please look for volunteer duties on the assignment charts.
Open Classes for All Dance Classes
If you are a NEW dancer or actor in our Little Mermaid Production you are required to attend one Theatrical Makeup Class. This class is provided free of charge to all performers. Children under the age of 10 MUST bring a parent. Make sure you attend even if you have not bought your stage makeup yet. If you have already attended a prior Theatrical Makeup Class presented by CPAC you are not required to attend.

Come see all of our dance students in our end of the year Spring Recital 2025. Dancers ages 2 to adult will be showcased during this performance. Numerous Dance styles to be performed including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Hip Hop, Modern and Lyrical.
