Carnegie Performing Arts Center established our Forte Competition Team in 2012 and has won many awards and trophies in the decade. CPAC realized being a part of the Competitive dance world give our students an additional opportunity to learn how to develop into the dancer they want to become!

Children and Teens have fun performing different styles of dance in a competition setting. Students learn how to express concepts, stories, and emotions through movement and facial expression. We have found in all the dance competitions we have attended a kind and welcoming atmosphere.

Overall Competition dance helps children learn how to be a part of a team; it expands their performance experience, personal responsibility and confidence. Most importantly they all have a enjoyable time together and make lifelong friendships.Forte Competition Team

Who can be on the Forte Competition Team?

CPAC students between the ages of 7-18.

Children enrolled in at least one CPAC classes are eligible to Join!

No Audition Required.

Must be available for Competition Class
